Thursday May 12th we will be hosting a gardening class at 6:30pm. If you are interested in learning about gardening please attend this class. We will also be having a general meeting at 6pm for anyone interested in attending and working to make the community garden a fun wonderful place to be.

Happy Gardeners can now till, cultivate, and grow fresh vegetables for family and friends. There are 80 plots available for use. The cost per plot is $40.00 per growing season.
It is easy to understand the need for the Miracle Gardens and the advantage of reserving 20 x 10 foot plots before spring arrives in our community.
How can you get involved? I'm glad you asked! Gift your family, gift a friend, or we can help you gift those who need the extra food. Forty dollars ($40) is all it takes. Consider a gift that keeps on giving.
There are numerous ways you can participate. You can help with one the following.
Donations needed:
- Shovels
- Picks
- Rakes
- Tillers
- Pitch forks
- Hoes
- Wheel barrels and garden wagons
- Lumber
- Screens
- Hammers and nails
- Post hole diggers
- Fencing
- Water hoses and sprinklers
- Soil amenders, fertilizers, mulch, good dirt,, hay
- Seeds
- Starter plants and flowers
- Bushes and trees
- Plastic pipe, connectors, glue, hose bibs
These are special needs that will require mentoring.
- Use of Adobe brick for landscaping
- Experienced gardeners
- Hydroponic experts
- Landscape artists, helping hands
- Chefs and cooks to instruct participants how to prepare fresh vegetables
If not you, then who? Tree trimmers, save a trip to the dump. Bring your rocks to decorate. Share your contacts, both business and non profit. Share your ideas, and support this worthwhile project with any gift you can.
